What is Pokémon Prism?

Pokémon Prism is a fan-made ROM hack based on Pokémon Crystal, but it completely overhauls the gameplay and introduces a host of new content. Developed by a dedicated team of Pokémon fans, the game is set in the new region of Naljo, an uncharted land full of unique Pokémon, challenges, and an original storyline. Unlike traditional Pokémon games, which follow the familiar formula of becoming a Pokémon Champion by defeating Gym Leaders and the Elite Four, Pokémon Prism adds several twists and turns, offering new ways to play and explore.

While Pokémon Prism retains the charm of the Pokémon Crystal battle mechanics, it introduces a wealth of improvements, such as new moves, new types, expanded mechanics, and a more open-ended world to explore. Players will discover a completely different set of environments, characters, and events that set Pokémon Prism apart from any other Pokémon game.

Gameplay 

In Pokémon Prism, players begin their journey in the new region of Naljo, far away from the familiar lands of Johto or Kanto. As you set off to capture Pokémon, battle Trainers, and become the region’s Champion, you’ll quickly discover that Pokémon Prism is not your typical Pokémon game. A Completely New Region: Naljo

The game introduces the Naljo region, which is completely separate from Johto and Kanto. This uncharted area is filled with new towns, cities, and routes to explore. Each location is uniquely designed with its own personality and challenges, offering a refreshing change of pace from the usual Pokémon settings. From dense forests to rocky mountains, players will encounter diverse environments that push the boundaries of the Pokémon world.
